From a Dream to an Ocean Crossing

How rebuilding our own boat changed everything

We didn’t set out to cross an ocean — we set out to follow a feeling. Buying a boat that needed serious work forced us to learn, adapt, and trust ourselves. Rebuilding her taught us patience, problem-solving, and respect for the sea. By the time we crossed the Atlantic, we weren’t just prepared — we were changed. This journey is the foundation of how we mentor others today: dream honestly, prepare deeply, and move forward with confidence.
